A Winning Ferrari 360 GT and the Chronograph to Fit

The question on everyone's minds at Girard-Perregaux at the beginning of this year was would the Girard-Perregaux-sponsored Ferrari come out on top again in 2003 like it did in 2002? To the elation of all, when the Girard-Perregaux / Scuderia Ferrari of Washington 360 GT roared first to the finish during the season-ending race in Daytona in November, the GP Ferrari not only won the race but accrued enough points to claim a host of other honors.

The Girard-Perregaux sponsored Ferrari ended the year tied for top place in the GT Drivers Championship, and earned solo top honors in the GT Team Championship and GT Manufacturers Championship. In addition to the excitement at the track, which included races in Phoenix, Atlanta and Philadelphia, the series of races allowed Girard-Perregaux marketers to socialize with our esteemed customers.

Throughout the year, the team took the opportunity to spend time with partner retailers, meet with customers and prospective watch buyers and tempt all with the special-edition 360 GT chronograph, an homage to the winning car and a testament to bold style. The limited edition timepiece, with a fitting 360 pieces manufactured, is almost sold out, making it another Ferrari win for Girard-Perregaux!

"For Girard-Perregaux, Scuderia Ferrari of Washington and our racing-minded customers, this was a dream season," said Ron Jackson, CEO of Tradema USA, distributors of Girard-Perregaux. "The combination of the racing schedule, store events and customer interactions provided all the ingredients of a great year."

Girard-Perregaux Sponsors the Colorado Grand

This September, Girard-Perregaux once again was the proud sponsor of the Colorado Grand, possibly the most fun gathering of classic automobile lovers in the country. In this, the 15th annual rally, some 75 car owners, many of them luminaries in the business and entertainment worlds, started their engines and toured the beautiful
Rocky Mountain towns of Vail, Aspen, Telluride and Grand Junction.

Over the days,
Jackson, CEO of Tradema USA, distributor of Girard-Perregaux watches, built on already strong relationships among this exclusive crowd of customers and potential watch buyers. Keeping with custom, Girard-Perregaux donated two watches for Colorado Grand officials to auction in benefit of its favored charities.

Ferrari Challenge Provides the Ultimate Test for Amateur Drivers

For the seventh year in a row, Girard-Perregaux signed on as a sponsor of the Ferrari Challenge, an event orchestrated by Ferrari
USA in six-plus U.S. cities. The Ferrari Challenge puts amateur owners of racing-quality automobiles on the track in real, high-energy tests of speed and skill.

The top drivers then proceed to beautiful
Mugello, Italy, in the verdant Tuscan hills, where they competed in the 2003 Ferrari-Maserati World Finals for the Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy cup. This year's races took place October 15-19 and as in year's past, Tradema USA CEO Ron Jackson was on hand to enjoy the atmosphere, personally congratulate all the drivers and award the top-three winners with Girard-Perregaux Pour Ferrari timepieces, the perfect memento of their successes. Top prize winner was Jim Kenton, an American.

The Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy finals also proved to be a wonderful venue for Girard-Perregaux to connect with high-profile customers, promote the precision, fine craftsmanship and beauty of the watches, while reveling in the excitement of the track.

The Newest Watch Collection Honors a Ferrari Legend

The late president of FIAT, Giovanni (Gianni) Agnelli, is honored by Girard-Perregaux's latest timepiece collection. With the Pour Ferrari F2003 GA, both Agnelli and the 2003 Formula 1 World Championship car, built by Ferrari are aptly recognized for their affinity for the track. It was Agnelli who gave the Maranello, Italy-based Scuderia Ferrari his passionate support and attention for 30 years, which allowed racing legends like the 2003 winning Ferrari to be built.

The F2003 GA watch collection, a limited-edition set of three styles, will feature individually numbered case backs. Available in
North America, will be 32 steel case and bracelet models; 15 with titanium cases-divided between strap and bracelet styles-and five in white gold, also in strap or bracelet. Girard-Perregaux collectors will note that the company rarely uses titanium.

The F2003 GA watch collection is also a Girard-Perregaux ww.tc (hours of the world function) chronograph. The ww.tc is one of Girard-Perregaux's most sought after and remarkable product lines. With it, wearers can plot the hour in every time zone of the world. Fittingly, the city marker representing
Western Europe's time zone is Maranello and Turin, two cities closely intertwined with the life of Gianni Agnelli.

The 330/P4 Chronograph

A Highlight of 1967, the Ferrari 330/P4, Fondly Recognized in 2003

One of the most fascinating Ferraris ever manufactured, the Ferrari 330/P4 sport prototype, which won the World Constructors Championship in 1967, came back to the forefront in 2003, with the Girard-Perregaux 330/P4 watch.

The 330/P4 chronograph sports a round and streamlined case, reminiscent of the sleek lines of the legendary 330/P4. With this racer, Enzo Ferrari was able to confirm the competitiveness of his cars at a time when American auto makes were vying to compete with Ferrari in the endurance-racing field. With this memorable racing car, Ferrari won endurance races at Daytona and
Monza in 1967.

Only 2000 pieces are available worldwide, with each watch featuring an individually numbered serial number engraved on the case back. The Girard-Perregaux 330/P4 collection ranges from $5,250 for steel and $13,500 for rose gold.

Striking Opera Three is Girard-Perregaux's Newest Complication

In 2003, just one of Girard-Perregaux's latest achievements in timekeeping-the Opera Three-will ship to the
United States. This rarity, priced at $475,000, is so mechanically refined, it can play 12-second selections from Mozart and Tchaikovsky. That is because the Opera Three literally contains a miniature music box inside its case, a delicate metal comb representing a scale of notes, upon which the work of these classical composers are chimed.

Complicated watches like the Opera Three are the passion of a growing population of watch collectors who pine for timepieces that use old-world skills to create miniature mechanical masterpieces. In addition to the Opera Three, Girard-Perregaux has spent the last 214 years of its existence creating such incredible watches from the hills of La Chaux-de-Fonds,
Switzerland.

Next year, production will allow the purchaser to select his/her own pieces of music for the watch to play. The Opera Three is available by calling the company's
U.S. arm at 877.846.3447 or by making an inquiry via the company's website - www.girard-perregaux-usa.com.

Girard-Perregaux Meets the Times Square Jumbotron

Girard-Perregaux's stunning Opera Three timepiece, featured in a story in this issue of the newsletter, really put the company in the news. The innovative watch was featured in the October issue of THE ROBB REPORT, which then led to coverage on both CNBC and the CNNfn (financial network) cable stations.

The CNBC feature was then broadcast on
Times Square's massive Jumbotron television, putting the Opera Three at the "crossroads of the world".

Departures Puts Spotlight on Girard-Perregaux

Departures, the up scale travel magazine, featured Girard-Perregaux in its popular Favorite Places/Readers' Survey issue, appearing in summer 2003. The magazine's editors selected the ww.tc (hours of the world chronograph), a fitting selection for a travel magazine. The particular model featured is a bold beauty with a deep-blue face, brushed titanium case and a black crocodile strap.
