I recently became a GP ww.tc owner. It is endowed with a massive case that is so impressive, I wanted to photograph some back and side views to share the beauty of the design. From the GP site: .” Featuring a world-time function, the "w.w.t.c." chronograph joins the line of classic timekeepers that bring together sophisticated technology and pure styling in a generously sized 18K pink gold case. Equipped with an automatic Calibre GP 3387 movement. Contrasting 24 hour day/night circle, calendar between 1 and 2 o'clock, crown on the left of the case to operate the rotating "World Time" bezel. The sapphire crystal is convex on the dial side and flat on the back. The case back, which reveals the superb movement with its yellow gold rotor, is fastened to the middle with 6 gold screws to guarantee water-resistance to 30 meters.Case diameter: 43 mm. and it comes with a leather strap and a pink gold deployant buckle".

Owners impressions

I like my watches to have enough bulk and weight to feel solid on my wrist. I have owned some substantial watches such as the Platinum IWC UTC, various Panerais and some huge Glashutte Gold Chronos but nothing prepared me the this watch. The lugs are deep, so deep that the strap holes have to be located at the top of the lugs to keep the strap from disappearing when viewed from the side.

The sides are also thicker than any watch I have ever owned giving the watch a prominent station on the wrist.

The dial is surprisingly easy to read in most light conditions and has a generous luminous coating on its hands and indices for low light viewing.

The Chronograph is as silky smooth as any I have owned as well. The pushers have a solid positive feel yet are quite easy to operate while on the wrist. All in all, a solid piece and a good value in my opinion for a world timer and chronograph combination with date.
