GP 2201 is based on a manual wind ebauche by Peseux, the Peseux 7001. Like all GP movements, the raw ebauches are finished, assembled and adjusted by hand.
An unusual version is the center date modification which was in use for several models of the older Classique Elegance and Richeville lines.
